A small boarding stable such as ours is able to offer personalized attention to our boarders and their owners. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe and friendly environment for the horses and their owners.
The owners also get to enjoy a campfire area and access to a pond for fishing and swimming.
Maddi grew up on a ranch surrounded by cattle and horses, developing a strong foundation in livestock care and management. She further expanded her equine expertise while working at the Shenandoah Riding Center, where she served as the Trail Barn Manager. In that role, she was responsible for overseeing more than 40 trail horses, managing daily care routines, organizing ride assignments, and ensuring the overall health and safety of the herd.
Today, Maddi is transforming her family’s beef ranch into a premier horse boarding facility. While cattle remain on the property, the primary focus has shifted to preparing the barns and pastures to accommodate horses and their owners, reflecting her dedication to advancing equine care and management.

In September 2025, Maddi earned her Advanced Equine Training Certificate through ABI, where she completed comprehensive coursework in equine training, nutrition, and management. In addition to her formal education, she has continued to expand her skills by attending horsemanship clinics with respected trainers such as Mark Lyons, Matt Jobe, and others, further refining her knowledge and techniques in effective horse handling and training.
